Was there ever a time when you thought, "If only I'd known ____, I wouldn't be feeling much like this today"? I thought about it for a couple of times and even wished life has its rewind button––something that can easily be toggled to shamelessly relive a moment.
Life would have been so much different, don't you think?

I pushed myself to reflect on who I am and some of the ~matured~ things I now know. Those things that would have blown my mind in the past and perhaps (?) helped me decide to take a different direction.

Today, I'm bringing some of these points and I hope you'll find them helpful.

Being different is okay. It's not right to spend a lot of your time trying to be somebody else. Let's not cling to the thought that others might not understand who you really are and will just criticize you out of it. In fact, people tend to admire those who dare to stand out (in a good way). It's far worse to be just a "faceless nobody" among a crowd. When you completely think your motives are right, don't push back.
People aren’t constantly thinking of you. Feeling super conscious about everything (even of the little ones) won't help. It's not only you in the universe; there's nothing to worry about.
There'll be times when you need to remove people from your life. Maybe a little harsh but it’s not worth having people who do nothing but bring you down. Surround yourself with people who are always willing to bring out the best in you. Those who go against, cut them off tactfully and without burning bridges.
Genuine Friendship ≠ Convenient Friendship. No lengthy explanations needed. I know forming the first's difficult but it becomes worth it even with at least one.
You can't just trust 100% of everything you hear. Enough said.
PS. This entry is inspired by the book Who Moved My Cheese (Spencer Johnson, 1998).
